Spotbed

Everyone deserves a spot and bed to sleep in at night

We're building a live availability platform connecting homeless shelters and referral organisations — so finding a safe place to sleep doesn't depend on a phone call.

Our goal is simple: ensuring every homeless individual gets a spot to sleep at night.

We're starting in London, working directly with shelters and referral organisations to replace manual, time-consuming availability checks with a live, shared system.

The problem

Shelters track bed availability manually — often by spreadsheet.

Referral organisations call or submit separate applications to each shelter individually to check space.

This process costs valuable staff and volunteer time — time that could go toward direct support.

Our solution

One centralised live view of where there is space.

Instead of a round of phone calls and separate applications, shelters update their availability in one place — and referral organisations they choose to partner with see it as it changes.

See how it works

Live availability

Shelters share open beds in real time, not by spreadsheet.

Shared between partners

Referral organisations check space without chasing each shelter.

Time back for people

Less admin means more time for direct support.
